Crack Injection

Crack injection is the ultimate solution to avoid further problems as the result of cracks.  This will solve problems such as water infiltration in cracks, the appearance of the structure and help restore the strength and stability of the structure.

The crack injection into the concrete brings the crack back together and helps to re-establish the strength of a structure. The application prevents the movement of concrete that occurs in the course of natural expansion. Offers concrete the potential to create more stability and structural toughness. Once the crack is successfully injected, it will last the lifetime of the structure.  All the cracks shall be properly treated before applying waterproofing compound.

Application - One component, solvent free, polyurethane injection grout ideally suitable for injecting in the cracks of concrete and masonry structures. Reaction with water yields rigid polyurethane foam (slightly flexible). To be injected with a one-component pump. Use with 6 to 10% catalyst.

The formation of CO² makes the foam penetrate very well into the cracks. The reaction speed can be adapted easily by varying the accelerator or catalyst content from 6 to 10 %. The more catalyst is added, the faster the reaction velocity. The end product neither shrinks nor swells. A good compression strength is obtained in a very short time.
